Missouri auto claims and remote estimating
Request estimating support in Missouri
Request damage estimating, supplements or desk review for an assignment in Missouri. We confirm scope, evidence, applicable eligibility and remote suitability before acceptance. Field attendance requires separate confirmation.
Use comparable vehicles to question a valuation
Missouri’s auto-insurance FAQ recommends market evidence when the proposed vehicle value is disputed. Comparable vehicles should reflect relevant characteristics such as mileage, equipment and condition; a different asking price alone is not a complete analysis.
Ask for the valuation details and point out specific factual errors. Keep the original offer, supporting listings and any counteroffer together so the insurer can review the evidence behind the disagreement.
Revised repair estimates and fault disputes
If a shop cannot repair the vehicle for the original estimate, Missouri guidance directs the parties back to the adjuster with a revised estimate. Photographs and an explanation of added operations make the reason for a supplement clearer.
The Department may review whether an insurer investigated a claim adequately, but it does not decide who caused an accident. A technical repair-cost review is therefore different from resolving contested fault, policy coverage or a legal dispute. Ask the insurer which issue is preventing payment before commissioning additional work.
Choose the service and evidence for your asset
Send unit identification, current location, damage photographs and the requested scope. Supplements need the baseline estimate and evidence for added operations; desk review needs specific questions.
Heavy trucks, trailers, agricultural or construction equipment, ATVs, boats and aircraft require asset-specific scope and fee confirmation. Auto rules do not automatically govern these assets. Estimating is not a safety, seaworthiness or airworthiness certification.
Estimating, policy appraisal and property valuation are distinct
A damage estimate does not appoint an appraisal-clause appraiser, umpire or adjuster. These roles have separate requirements. We do not decide coverage or guarantee payment.
Home and mortgage valuations require separate credentials, lender ordering and any applicable appraisal-management compliance. This page does not confirm an available real estate provider network.
