Supplement estimating with a clear record of what changed
When repair work reveals more information, the estimate needs a documented update. California United Appraisals helps prepare supplement estimates using the existing sheet and evidence supporting the requested changes.
Connect the new information to the original estimate
Provide the original estimate, any previous supplement versions and the new material. Explain whether the request involves additional damage, a revised operation, a part difference or another change that needs review.
Evidence that makes the request understandable
Use clear images and documentation relevant to the operation. Identify the component and location rather than relying on an unlabeled close-up. Include measurements, invoices or repair records when they support the requested work.

For busy repair facilities
If your team needs help organizing a supplement, describe the work already completed and the point reached in repairs. We can review the requested estimating scope without representing that every proposed line will be accepted by the payer.
Standard and contract pricing
An additional supplement on a standard regular-auto or truck assignment is $75. Insurance-company contract rates are negotiated. Supplement pricing for heavy-truck, tractor, trailer or other specialty work must be confirmed separately; the standard supplement rate is not automatically the rate for those assignments.
Additional review may be needed
Unclear evidence can lead to requests for more photographs, documents or an inspection. Preparing a supplement does not settle a coverage question or guarantee payment.
Questions about your supplement
Can you work from another initial estimate?
Send an inquiry describing the service you need. Acceptance, scope and a document-submission method must be confirmed before work begins.
